- 2 cups of liquid cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 4 sheets of gelatin
- 1 cup of cold water
- Red fruits to decorate
Preparation of panna cotta de nata
1-Pour the cold water into a container and dip the gelatin sheets to hydrate them. If you are going to use envelope gelatin you will need ¾ parts of one and you must dissolve it in hot water.
2-Add the cream, milk, vanilla and sugar to a pot, mix well to integrate and bring to the fire. Wait until it boils, stirring constantly so it does not stick.
When it comes to a boil, lower the heat and cook for five more minutes. Remove from the fire.
3-Drain the gelatin sheets with your hands and add them to the mixture, stirring until they dissolve in the heat. If you used envelope gelatin, you should add it along with the water.
4-Then pour the mixture into the individual molds and bring to the refrigerator for several hours or until set.
5-When you are ready to serve, unmold your panna cotta de nata and accompany it with a syrup of the fruit of your choice or some red fruits to decorate. It’s up to you! The good thing is that it combines with everything!
