Ingredients

  • 500 gr. ground beef
  • 1/3 onion
  •     1 green pepper
  •     1 red pepper
  •     2 cloves of garlic
  •     1 jalapeño
  •     1 cup of breadcrumbs
  •     2 eggs
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Pepper to taste
  •     ½ cup of mashed potatoes
  •     Parsley
  •     Manchego cheese to taste
  •     300 gr. of bacon
  •     1 cup of tomato puree
  •     ½ cup of ketchup
  •     1 tbsp of brown sugar
  •     1 tbsp of English sauce
  •     ½ cda. of soy sauce
  •     ½ cda. of hot sauce
  •     ½ cda. of mustard
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Pepper to taste

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 200ºC.

2-In a large bowl mix the meat, onion, peppers, jalapeño, bread crumbs, eggs, salt and pepper.

3-Spread all the meat mixture in an aluminum.

4-Add the mashed potatoes and the chopped parsley.

5-Add the manchego cheese and roll firmly.

6-Put a layer of bacon and wrap the roll with this.

7-Bake 30 minutes, remove the aluminum and bake 25 minutes more.

8-For the sauce, in a pot, add the tomato puree, ketchup, sugar, English sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook until boiled.

9-Cut the roll, add the sauce and chopped parsley.
