  • 2 cups of liquid cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate powder
  • 3 teaspoons of neutral gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
  • Sugar-coated whipped cream (optional)
  • Red fruits to decorate (optional)
  • Individual molds

Preparation of chocolate panna cotta

1-To start preparing this delicious chocolate panna cotta, the first thing you have to do is to hydrate the gelatin. To do this, heat the milk a little in the microwave and add the gelatin powder, stir and let stand for 5 minutes.

2-Next, add the liquid cream, sugar and chocolate to a medium saucepan and stir. Cook over medium heat with some manual rods while stirring.

3-When it boils, pour the milk with the gelatin, continue stirring without stopping and when it returns to boil, separate it from the fire.

4-If you do not have gelatin powder, you can use 5 sheets of gelatin, which you must hydrate first for 10 minutes with cold water. Then drain them, add them to the hot mixture and stir to dissolve.

5-Once the mixture of fire is removed, add the vanilla, stir again and strain with a sieve, so it will be free of lumps. Reserve for a few minutes until the mixture is tempered.

6-When it has cooled a little, wet a napkin or a piece of kitchen paper with vegetable oil and grease the molds, so it will be much easier to unmold when your dessert is ready.

7-Pour the mixture into the individual molds and bring to the refrigerator for several hours or until set.

8-When your panna cotta is ready, unroll it and decorate it with the whipped cream and the red fruits of your choice, if you prefer you can also substitute it with chocolate syrup. Take advantage!
